Supporting Quality Education: Mitsui Leasing Surabaya Branch Channels Asset Donation to MI Fajrul Islam 02

SURABAYA, July 2026 – PT Mitsui Leasing Capital Indonesia (Mitsui Leasing) continues to reinforce its corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitment through the strategic optimization and donation of office operational assets. Most recently, the Surabaya Branch Office successfully realized this initiative by handing over supporting inventory facilities to Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Fajrul Islam 02 Pulo, an elementary educational institution located in the Lumajang regency, East Java.

The handover event, which was successfully conducted as scheduled on July 10, 2026, was initiated following the address relocation of the Surabaya Branch Office. Rather than retiring functional equipment, the company chose to repurpose these well-maintained assets to deliver sustainable value and support educational institutions within its regional operational footprint.

Enhancing Administrative Spaces and Student Facilities

As part of this initial CSR batch by the Surabaya Branch, we donated a comprehensive range of office inventories in excellent condition, consisting of:

  • 43 units of desk workstations.
  • 8 units of desk printers.
  • 1 unit of desk facsimile.
  • Messenger and pantry storage units (including a cabinet messenger, desk messenger, and cabinet pantry).

These donated assets are dedicated to equipping teachers' administrative rooms and student activity spaces. This provision aims to foster a more organized, conducive, and efficient academic delivery environment for both educators and students. 

The symbolic handover ceremony was facilitated by Rheinhard Manaek Pasaribu as the Branch Manager of the Surabaya Branch Office and received by Eliyah Dewi as the school principal.

As an elementary educational institution operating within Mitsui Leasing's broader regional network, MI Fajrul Islam 02 Pulo receives immediate and practical utility from these resources. This initiative not only provides vital support to an underfunded educational institution but also amplifies the company's tangible contribution to community development and education.
