Supporting Sustainable Health: Mitsui Leasing Successfully Conducted Annual Blood Donation Initiative in Partnership with RSPAD Gatot Soebroto

JAKARTA, October 2026 – PT Mitsui Leasing Capital Indonesia (Mitsui Leasing) has once again demonstrated its steadfast commitment to social sustainability and public health through its routine annual blood donation program. Organized as a recurring yearly initiative in strategic partnership with the Blood Transfusion Unit (UTD) of RSPAD Gatot Soebroto, the successful event took place at Mitsui Leasing's Head Office on October 6, 2026.

This recurring humanitarian initiative serves as an integral part of the company's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) framework, specifically supporting Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3 (Good Health & Well-Being) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).

Increased Participation and Enhanced Operational Efficiency

The program achieved a positive year-over-year performance improvement. A total of 126 participants including employees and community members around the head office have registered for the event, reflecting a 6.78% increase compared to 2025 (118 registrants).

Out of the total registrants, 102 bags of blood were successfully and safely collected, marking a 12.08% increase in successful blood collections compared to the previous year (91 bags). Meanwhile, 24 participants were deferred following rigorous medical screenings administered by the RSPAD Gatot Soebroto medical team (due to hemoglobin levels, blood pressure, medication history, or other health criteria). This strict screening process underscores both organizations' unwavering dedication to medical safety protocols.

Tangible Impact on Local Blood Reserves

This routine annual initiative not only contributes directly to saving lives by fulfilling local blood bank reserves at RSPAD Gatot Soebroto for patients with urgent medical needs, but also fosters health awareness across the corporate environment and surrounding communities.

Through the consistent execution of this yearly program, Mitsui Leasing continually reinforces its role as a socially responsible corporate entity dedicated to creating lasting positive impacts on community health and well-being.
