MLCI's Iftar Ramadhan:
Embracing the Spirit of Ramadhan Through Integrity and Simplicity
In commemoration of the holy month of Ramadhan, PT Mitsui Leasing Capital Indonesia (MLCI) once again held a meaningful iftar gathering under the theme "Embracing the Spirit of Ramadhan Through Integrity and Simplicity." The event took place at Aroem Restaurant, Central Jakarta, and was attended by the Board of Directors, employees from the Head Office and Gatot Subroto branch, as well as distinguished guests from JA Mitsui Leasing, the shareholder of MLCI.
The event commenced with an opening address by the President Director of MLCI, Mr. Yasuaki Miyaoka, who underscored the significance of integrity and simplicity in both professional and personal life.
"Regardless of whether we are Muslim, Christian, Hindu, Buddhist, or from any other background, we all share the same responsibility—to uphold integrity, embrace simplicity, and treat one another with kindness," stated Mr. Yasuaki Miyaoka with conviction.
The evening proceeded with a series of engaging activities, including an interactive quiz featuring nearly 50 exclusive prizes, ranging from household appliances and electronic devices to stylish tumblers, enhancing the enthusiasm of the participants.
Adding to the festivity, a Best Costume competition and fashion show brought further excitement to the event. Three participants with the most outstanding attire received special recognition and prizes from the Board of Directors as an appreciation for their creativity and active involvement.
A particularly memorable moment was when the Board of Directors personally served iftar meals to all employees at dedicated food stalls. This initiative symbolized a strong bond between leadership and employees, fostering a more inclusive and harmonious workplace environment.
Beyond fostering camaraderie and enjoyment, the event also featured an Islamic lecture by Ustadz Abdurahman Dasrul, who emphasized the importance of upholding integrity in daily life and how simplicity can bring blessings to both work and personal endeavors.
This iftar gathering was more than a shared meal—it served as a platform to strengthen relationships, enhance mutual respect among employees, and cultivate a spirit of unity within the organization.
